Sunday Service
St. John's is an Episcopal Church, and as such, adheres to the
worship of God as set forth in the Book of Common Prayer.
The Book of Common Prayer, first published in 1549 and most
recently in 1979, includes a variety of ancient and modern prayers
and worship services for occasions when the whole community gathers
or for individual use. Our worship services allow
everyone to participate, reminding us that each person is an
important part of the worship experience, whether the service is a
celebration or a solemn occasion. It is a
guidebook for daily Christian living.
Music, both traditional and contemporary, is an integral part of
uniting our prayers and Scripture.
Please join us for Holy Eucharist, the principal feast of our church, Sundays at 8:00am (Rite I, traditional language) and 10:30am (Rite II, contemporary language, with choral music).
