Tish Seely, Director of Children's Formation
A native of Wichita, baptized and raised a Roman Catholic, Tish helped with Christian education classes from the 8th grade. She was received into the Episcopal Church in May of 1974. She was director of Children's Education at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Clay Center, Kasas, and the Assistant Director of Children's Education at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Upon returning to Wichita in 1991, Tish began teaching Sunday School at St. John's in 1994 and became the Director of Children's Ministry in 1996. She has coordinated the children's portion and nursery care at the Diocesan Ministry Fair for three years, and has attended numerous national, provincial, and diocesan education workshops.
Tish is blessed with a large family: husband Dan, five children, thirteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also blessed with a large extended family in Wichita. She considers children a precious gift from God, and considers it a precious opportunity to work with them.

Dr. Dean Roush has been organist and choir director at St. John's since 1989. He is also faculty at Wichita State University, serving as Professor of Music Theory and Director of the Musicology-Composition area. His compositions have been widely performed; some are anthems and other sacred music, and several have been awarded prizes. His education includes the American Boychoir, Ohio University, Bowling Green State University, and Ohio State University. He is married to Bridget Hille, and is the father of two grown children.

Cathy
is a life long member of St. John's.
She attended Wichita State University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,
majoring in finance with a minor in economics. After
guaduating, Cathy was hired by Koch Industries. The majority of her 17 ½ years at
Koch were spent as a Cash Manager for its multiple companies, coordinating
the daily cashflow, settling commercial paper, investing excess funds overnight, and buying and
selling foreign currency. Five of those years were spent as an Investment Analyst, settling trades
for Koch; and two years were spent as a Corporate Accountant. During her time at Koch, she set
up and maintained cash management and financial trading software systems.
Cathy joined St. John’s Staff in October 2002. Starting out as part-time, her position quickly developed into a full time position as Administrative Assistant and then Parish Administrator. She processes deposits, payments, payroll, incoming mail, and parish mailings. Cathy manages bank accounts, bank relationships, insurance policies, maintenance agreements, and inventory of office and church supplies. She oversees investments, trust funds, the annual external audit, and the repair, maintenance, and inspection of church buildings and equipment. Cathy also prepares budget and financial reports for the Finance Committee, records of giving, diocesan reports, and tax reports.
Cathy attends the 8:00 a.m. Rite I Eucharist service at St. John’s and is an acolyte, chalice bearer, and lector. She is in her second year of Education For Ministry classes. Cathy has a love for gardening and animals. Owning two dogs and three cats, her newest ministry is the daily feeding of the homeless cats around the office. Cathy loves St. John’s and very much enjoys working in the office.
