“Over the Years: A Cookbook Collection” is a unique compilation of cookbooks published over the last century by the wonderful cooks of St. John’s parish. The 1908 and 1920 cookbooks appear as originally published, including advertisements of their times. There are historical notes and photos from the history of our parish and city. Excerpts from the 1988 cookbook and brand new recipes from our current members complete the collection. The collection is 8 1/2 x 11″, contains over 170 pages, is wire-bound to fold back easily, and the cover can be wiped clean. Contact the parish office at 262-0897 for your copy; the cost is $20 for the first copy, then $18 per copy. It’s an interesting read, and a fun gift to give anyone who enjoys good eating!
